2021-2026 WNYLRC 5-Year Plan of Service (State)
Strategic Planning Committee 2025:
Every five years, WNYLRC is required by New York State Regents to draft a 5-Year Strategic Plan of Service in partnership with the WNYLRC Board of Trustees and member libraries. There are two versions: one that goes to New York State (Plan of Service) and one that synthesizes the plan into goals and objectives (Member Strategic Plan). In the fall of 2024, the Strategic Planning Committee was formed through the Resource Sharing Committee and included members of the Board and other committees. The committee conducted a general and hospital library services surveys as well as conducting focus groups targeted to specific types of members (special collections, academic libraries, school libraries, and public libraries. The committee completed its draft work on the new Strategic Plan July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2031.
