Position:
Outreach and Advocacy Consultant
This is a full-time position: 35 hours per week.
The work location is at the Nioga Library System. The library system serves the three counties of Niagara, Orleans and Genesee, with a chartered population of over 319,000. There are 21 member libraries in the system.
Requirements:
A master’s degree from a library school accredited by the American Library Association.
Special Requirements:
Eligibility for the New York State Public Librarian’s certificate at the time of application for appointment.
Must be able to work flexible hours, have New York State Driver’s license. Access to personal vehicle required.
Overview:
Job responsibilities include: Assist member libraries with annual reports and state construction grant applications; coordinate trustee training; main liaison with library development on matters related to member library governance, trustee issues and charter changes. Coordinate details for annual dinner.
The successful candidate must be self-directed in completing goals with the following abilities:
Proficiency in written and verbal skills

Ability to plan and coordinate tasks

Salary: $60,660.00
