Apply for Membership

Both organizational and personal membership applications can be completed online. Once we receive your application, a staff member will contact you. 
For individual applicants: Before submitting your application, please check our membership directory to ensure that you do not already have membership through your employer - all employees of member organizations are considered WNYLRC members. If you are unsure, contact Tammy Nunciato.

Member libraries and organizations are eligible to:

For Library Staff

Through a WNYLRC membership, all library staff are eligible to:

  • attend professional development and networking activities sponsored by WNYLRC and ESLN
  • communicate with all WNY member libraries through the listserv WNYLIB-L
  • serve on the WNYLRC Board of Trustees
  • serve on WNYLRC Standing Committees
  • nominate colleagues and libraries for recognition in the WNYLRC Awards Program
  • participate in pilot programs
  • participate in advocacy efforts with local, state, and federal legislators with the support and guidance of WNYLRC
  • access sponsorships and grant funding for trainings and special projects
